Hangzhou Fuyang Cuishouling Freight Service Co., Ltd. (Cuishouling Logistics) has over a decade of experience in inter-provincial bulk heavy-duty logistics covering Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui and Jiangxi Provinces. Its core businesses include long-distance transportation of construction machinery, large-scale equipment, sand and stone building materials. The company previously operated entirely with traditional diesel tractors and ordinary semi-trailers, suffering from three prominent pain points: excessive fuel costs, substantial exhaust emissions, and insufficient load-bearing capacity of conventional semi-trailers.
In response to the national “Dual Carbon” transformation policies for highway freight, the enterprise launched a full fleet capacity upgrade initiative. It adopted an integrated solution pairing new energy intelligent tractor heads with professional heavy-load low-bed semi-trailers. The company partnered with two equipment manufacturers: it placed bulk orders for pure-electric intelligent heavy trucks from DeepWay Technology (DeepWay Auto), and simultaneously purchased customized CIZK9400TDP three-axle low-bed semi-trailers from Zhongkai Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This collaboration established the first tripartite demonstration fleet for zero-carbon heavy-duty transportation in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Cuishouling Logistics purchased 30 units of DeepWay Star Generation II 600kWh long-range pure-electric tractors in batches. Equipped with a self-developed 900V high-voltage three-electric system and Level 2 intelligent driver assistance, the tractors deliver a full-charge cruising range of 400 km, perfectly suited for cross-provincial long-distance heavy-duty transport across the four provinces. A 30-minute fast charge replenishes 20% to 80% of battery capacity, effectively resolving long-haul range anxiety. Paired with the CIZK low-bed semi-trailer, the tractor features a lightweight chassis and high-torque electric drive axle calibrated for a gross vehicle weight of 40 tons, cutting power consumption significantly on mountainous roads and national highways with harsh driving conditions.
Supporting Infrastructure Rollout: Cuishouling invested RMB 18 million to build a network of heavy-truck ultra-fast charging stations along major freight corridors, forming an integrated “tractor-charging station-cargo” energy supply system. Off-peak valley electricity rates further slash operational power expenses.
Zhongkai Vehicle Manufacturing: Custom Matching Heavy-Duty Low-Bed Semi-Trailers
To meet transport demands for construction machinery and oversized heavy equipment, Cuishouling placed bulk orders for customized CIZK9400TDP three-axle low-bed semi-trailers as its primary matching superstructures, manufactured and delivered by Zhongkai Vehicle Manufacturing factory.

Matched Load-Bearing Capacity: Approved with a total mass of 40 tons and a rated payload of 33.6 tons, the semi-trailer adopts a three-layer reinforced main beam structure. It accommodates oversized heavy cargo such as excavators and heavy steel products, fully bearing the rated traction load of DeepWay heavy trucks.
Lightweight Synergy: Optimized lightweight design brings the semi-trailer curb weight down to only 5.8 tons. It reduces overall vehicle dead weight, lowering power consumption of DeepWay’s electric tractors and raising single-trip cargo volume under the same battery range.
Adaptability to Rough Terrains: Fitted with an extended 13.75m body and a widened flat platform ranging from 2.8m to 3m, the trailer adopts reinforced spring suspensions and 12R22.5 heavy-duty steel radial tires to enhance torsion resistance on mountain and rural rough roads. The integrated low-bed loading ramp enables safer and more efficient loading and unloading of construction machinery.
Precise Tractor-Trailer Matching: The fifth wheel height, brake pipelines and electrical interfaces are uniformly calibrated to match the parameters of DeepWay pure-electric tractors. Dual-circuit air brakes and ABS anti-lock systems are electronically linked with the control system of electric tractors for stable braking under full heavy loads.

Address Bottlenecks in Heavy-Duty Electrification Deployment: Previously, pure-electric heavy trucks were mostly limited to light bulk cargo transport. The matched high-strength low-bed semi-trailers supplied by Zhongkai prove that electric heavy trucks can fully satisfy long-distance transport requirements for 40-ton oversized heavy loads, expanding the application boundaries of new energy heavy commercial vehicles.
Replicable Template for Regional Logistics Transformation: This project is applicable to sand, stone and construction machinery transport enterprises nationwide.
